Welcome to the Currency Trading Strategies website. Here you will learn everything that you need to know about currency trading no matter your starting knowledge.

While this website is new… we aren’t. We have been trading in the foreign exchange market for as long as we care to remember and we want to share this experience with you.

So what will we be covering about currency trading? Well I will do my best to summarise but please forgive me if I miss anything out. This is meant to be a taster.

Obviously we will be talking about the basics of currency trading but will also cover the advanced aspects extensively.

We will be looking at the fundamentals that drive the exchange rate and forex markets. We won’t just be looking at the theory and hypothetical scenarios. We will be applying it the events that are happening around the world right now. How anticipated interest rate movements move currencies, the role that inflation plays as well austerity measures governments are introducing to reduce deficits.

All of these are interlinked and can take some scrutiny to unravel. Credibility and expectation is also crucial issue that needs to be addressed. You only have to think about the Federal Reserve and other Central Banks.

It is also important not to consider currencies in isolation. Currencies are priced relative to each other so just because one country is in a complete mess… there may be others in a worse position. It is crucial to take a global view of all the economic factors that will affect the currency market.

We will also be talking about the importance of technical analysis when trading currencies. There are many traders who don’t worry about the fundamentals and just rely on technical analysis indicators and trading signals. We will be showing you how they do that and the forex trading tools that you can use to help.

This is not to say that you can’t use fundamental analysis alongside technical analysis. In fact many of the best currency trading strategies include both types of analysis.

We will not be providing a forex trading course par se but we will be providing you with all the key elements.

For beginners we will be showing you how to select from all the forex brokers on the market right to setting up your first currency trade. For those of you who are already active forex traders the next will still get value… we will be showing you the best deals and offers on currency accounts and where you can find the best cashback deals.

The forex market is the biggest market in the world and it is very exciting to be a part of. We will be highlighting the risks involved with trading currencies. Just like any other financial asset there is always risk involved. This is something that you need to consider as part of your currency trading strategies and we will be showing you what you can do to mitigate the risk through your risk management approach.

We have also considered the fact be you may not want to do currency trading yourself but may want exposure to different currencies in your portfolio. We will be showing you how you can achieve this through investment management firms. There are advantages and disadvantages to this and we will be talking you through that.

We will also be maintaining a regular forex blog so you can keep up to date with any new currency trading developments in the foreign exchange market.
